Events Tasmania is part of the Culture, Arts and Sport division of the Department of State Growth. Our division also includes Arts Tasmania, Screen Tasmania, Sport and Recreation, Tasmanian Institute of Sport, Silverdome and Operations & Client Engagement. The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery is also supported by the division.

At Events Tasmania we provide support to events of all sizes that attract more people to Tasmania and get them moving around our regions.

We do this by offering a range of funding opportunities to encourage event organisers to stage their next event in Tasmania.

We also provide advice and access to resources to assist in the creation, staging, promotion and operation of events.

Events Tasmania's office hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
